Some thoughts (artist statement?):
I've realized that the reason for my work in film came from the Still photography of one of my favourite movies, Inception (2010), and now I have the chance to be someone else's reason for being a member of this industry. Being a Unit Still photographer combines two things I love: photographing candid moments and working on set. I started photography, working in street photography, leading me to prefer candid photography, which is the most natural and beautiful form, in my opinion. I began to work as a Still Photographer with Aimee Wolfe, Jose José Molina, & Sebastian Lennox's To Find Peace (2023). It had come after I took a break from photography, and it is what made me fall in love with it once again; I continued working with Sebastian on future projects and other students from York University. Coming off finishing eight productions during my 3rd year at York, my skill and experience continue to expand into becoming the best Still Photographer I can be. I am forever grateful to all of those I have worked with these past two years, and I hope to continue expanding as time goes on.
